TEAM BELGIUM – INTERNS @ COCO-MAT.BIKE

I am Lore, a 22-year-old student from Belgium. I started working as an intern at COCO-MAT bike on February the first. I am responsible for the social media and the digital marketing. COCO-MAT bike is a very sympathetic company where you immediately feel welcome. Colleagues feel like friends so it feels like home. You can go to anyone with your questions.

In addition, my internship is very instructive. Stefanos, my supervisor, is very open-minded and is always ready to help. No question is too much for him. He also teaches us a lot on a personal level and I think that’s really fantastic.

COCO-MAT bike is the perfect company to gain experience, not only on a practical level, but also on a personal level!

Hi! My name is Brian and I am a 20-year-old student from Belgium. I have been working as an intern in the office of COCO-MAT Bike since the 14th of March. I always had a passion for cycling, so they gave me this great opportunity to gain more experience while being busy with my passion. At COCO-MAT Bike, I immediately felt like one of the family. The atmosphere here is very natural and you get to know new friends easily. I am responsible for the assembly, quality, and procurement. It is very important to get to know the bikes and this is exactly what they taught me first.

Working at COCO-MAT Bike is like going out with friends. You have a lot of freedom which makes people more determent and nothing is too much to ask for. The thing I like the most is that my supervisor, Stefanos, not only teaches us about professionalism but is also interested in our health and tries his best to arrange outdoor activities.

My name is Ellen Gabriëls, and I’m a 22-year-old student in International Entrepreneurship from Antwerp. My first International Experience in Athens by the COCO-MAT.bike has been educational so far. I started my graduation project on March 7th, whereby I’m creating an expansion project from Athens to Scandinavia. After three weeks, the company already feels like home, because the people here are kind and caring.

Stefanos, my internship supervisor, is an inspiring and flexible person. He teaches us more than theoretical matters. I am grateful to be a member of the COCO-MAT.bike group.

“I’m Lan Phuong and the main reason I chose COCO-MAT.bike as my internship company is because we share the same values. Sustainability, for example, is key within this company. I have only been here for two weeks, but I don’t feel like a newbie. I’m supporting their sales and marketing department but I also do small things that matter. The colleagues are all very friendly and welcome you with a smile every day.”
