A TREE IS A HOPE

Evia, April 17, 2022.

We planted the trees of the people who lost their production, their olives, their almond trees, their vineyards, their trees, their harvest, their work, their life. We keep on planting with them, with the full help of Vangelis Giannakis, a resident of Skepasti, Evia, his neighbors and his family.

With the full support of our carpentry, we keep producing beehives for the bee keepers. Noted that as it was declared 4500 beehives are lost in the wildfires. At our side are the mayor of Mantoudi, Limni and Agia Anna, Mr. Tsapourniotis as well as the forest department of northern Evia. This action aims at the immediate support and reconstruction of the area of ​​northern Evia, which has been severely affected by the catastrophic fires in the summer of 2021. In the photos, the locals welcomed us with their olive oil, their thyme & pine honey.

We buy from them their products as a complimentary gift to our supporters. We also buy from them the burnt wood and we use it in parts of our bikes. We keep standing by the residents In Nothern Evia till they manage to stand again on their own feet.
